A little pricey as Mexican restaurants go, but the food was good and the service was quick on a Thursday evening with only a few patrons around. The complimentary chips were crisp and the salsa was thick with just a little heat. My dining partner had an enchilada sampler plate, and I chose a pork quesadilla. Both entrees were ones I would happily eat again.
I'm picky. Like really picky. Like I'm from San Francisco and grew up with The Mission picky. Finally! A place that reminds me of home, somewhat. We ARE still in Iowa. I had their ceviche last week, as I was craving seafood. I needed to be transported back to Isla Mujeres for a minute. I asked for the servers recommendation and they did not disappoint!
