Smash Juice Bar & Eatery

Sadly, I did not have a positive experience at Smash. The owner was incredibly rude and disrespectful during my visit. I was looking forward to supporting a local spot, but I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. I hope they work on treating customers with more respect in the future.

Amazing! No ice, syrups, refined sugars or artificial ingredients. And sooooo yummy! Even my picky girls loved it. & Very friendly and helpful staff! Super cute furniture and Atmosphere. Loved it here!

I never leave reviews. The starry night (blueberries,peanut butter+other stuff) was one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had. BIG YUM!! I’m full but it was so great I want to go back in for another right now. The blueberry peanut butter combo was the most unique and original thing I’ve eaten in a while. Thank you to the staff for creating an outstanding drink.

Ordered “The Julius” which is supposed to be Orange, Banana, Vanilla and Vanilla Protein, and it came with tons of black chunks at the bottom, presumably dates, which was a much different flavor than what I thought I was ordering.

If thats an intentional recipe change, it would helpful to update the menus on their website (and chomp).

I miss living down the street from here.
Seeing them work their magic convinced me to buy a professional blender but I can’t do it like they do so I rarely used the blender haha

I had the Mango Tango and Smashwich for a great breakfast. Service was excellent, polite and friendly. The atmosphere is amazing and inviting. Highly recommend for a nutritional and delicious meal.

My favorite juice is the green (green apple,lemon,ginger and more) for sure this will be my favorite drink:)

The protein bowl was to die for!

My family and I were in a hurry but looking for something healthy to eat in North Liberty. We decided on Smash Juice bar. The employee was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We tried one of each of the panini’s, all of them were really good, not to mention the prices are so reasonable. We will be back soon.

Great to have such a delicious and healthy food option in North Liberty. The owner is super friendly and her vision of offering such a wonderful alternative to over-processed corporate “food” is a blessing to the community. Thank you!

Vegetarian options: In addition to the primarily vegetarian menu items, Smash offers two delicious panini options - “Have a Gouda Day”, smoked gouda, ham & apple and “Tuscan Treat”, turkey, havarti & sundried tomato pesto, both of which are fabulous.

TLDR: Smash is a low-key, bright, little spot to get clean food offerings & houseplant lighting envy w/ indoor, seasonal outdoor seating, a drive-thru that works well w/ their preorder options. It’s the kind of smoothie shop you’d expect in a cosmopolitan big city w/ small city touches. Smash smoothies are made with real fruit & their juices tend to be unexpectedly delicious–like heck no these ingredients shouldn’t even taste palatable together so why is this so good?!–delicious. Smash has quiet indoor seating away from the UIowa hustle & bustle. The spot also has seasonal sidewalk-cafe style outdoor seating that seems pet friendly. You can preorder online & pick up your order via their drive-thru if you’re just driving from one end of the corridor to the other. Iykyk they’re awesome w/ preordering. One of the two owners is a congenial woman who is knowledgeable & bubbly about their offerings.

Very disappointed with the customer service at smash. I really enjoyed going to this place but every time I go in the owner is beyond rude to me. Keeping me from going back (at least not over my lunch hour) when she works. Very sad!
