We enjoy this place, especially their outdoor patio! It is covered and can seat quite a few people. Unfortunately they do not allow dogs on the patio. If they allowed dogs, we would be there a lot more often to support a local business.
Fun sports bar.

I’ve given this place numerous tries. This past visit, we were one of the first to arrive. Took about 5 minutes for the server to approach us, even thought she was just at the bar chatting with the bartender. No smile, no friendly greeting. Clearly she didn’t want to be there.
Found a sticker from an avocado in my salad. When she came back, she kind of made a n offhand remark about their avocados usually not having stickers. I’m surprised she took 1/2 off the salad.
I’d rather drive out of Norwalk for good service, than continue to deal with issues here. Won’t be going back.

I have gone in a few times by myself and once with the wife when we were welcome with live music. Her drinks were better then she asked for based on the servers recommendations. The food was great. Always looking forward to coming back to try the next thing on the menu.

There have been some not so great reviews recently so I wanted to give my positive input on this restaurant. We've come here many times since moving here a couple of years ago.
Honestly... we love the drinks, love the food, and love the staff. We have never had an issue with anything and have come at various times throughout the day on weekdays and weekends. We don't wait long to be seated (once for a party of 8 including kids), and apps/food/drinks come out promptly. Restaurant and bathrooms are always clean; everyone is dressed professional. Live music on Saturdays is great. I personally have never had a bad experience and love coming here!

My wife and I stopped in for a weekday lunch and beer before we caught a plane. We were excited about our travel plans and ready for vacation fun. When we walked in, it was obvious that they had a busy lunch with all but one table not cleaned or cleared from a recent lunch rush… no worries here! We understand that this can happen so my wife and I sat down at a table as the sign up front directed us to. The one clean table was the one closest to the restroom so we opted to wait for the waitress to clear a different table. Upon arrival of our waitress, it was very apparent that she was not having a good day. Both my wife and I could visibly see and feel the tension and displeasure in her presence. My wife tried to ease the tension with a greeting and question about being sorry if we shouldn’t have sat down there yet since it wasn’t clean yet. Her response was worse than her initial approach. She then blamed us for being in her face and not courteous or respectful to her. She did not deserve being talked to like that and she would return after we took a moment. Not fully understanding what she just said and what we had done to “offend” her, we asked if we could have the manager speak to us about this instead of her. She replied, “ I am the manager.” Her name was Sydney and at that moment we decided to stand up and leave to avoid any further uncomfortable conversation or events prior to our flight. But thanks to Sydney, we drove a bit North on 63rd street and found a wonderful place instead of here: Bix & Company in Valley Junction. Just a few minutes north of where we were and out waiter/bartender was warm, pleasant and happy. He made us feel so very welcome. The cheese curds were absolutely amazing! Best I have had in this area and the tenderloin was as delicious as any I’ve found in small town Iowa when I make the rounds to try those on the best tenderloin in Iowa annual list! So what started out as a terrible experience finished with us finding a great new usual stop! Just not the one that we stopped at first today. Bix & Company, we will definitely be back! Drought House, never again

My best friend and I visited for Happy Hour on June 25th, 2024 at 3:45PM. For starters, we were ignored coming into the restaurant. The server was behind the bar playing on her phone and only taking care of the three men at the bar. When she finally approached us after a significant time of us waiting to be greeted, she welcomed us with a giant sigh and eye roll. She asked us, “can I grab you a drink?”. I asked her about the drink special which was on the chalkboard as, “$4 Tito’s” and I simply asked, “what does $4 Tito’s mean exactly? Does it come with anything?”. And her response was a rude attitude and eye roll, stating “it’s exactly what it sounds like?”. Talking to me like I was an idiot or a child. I have been in the serving industry for 10 years and I would never treat a customer the way I got treated today. My friend and I have never been treated like this at 1908 before which is really disappointing because I was exacted to eat there because I’ve been gone from work for 6 months. Anyways. My family and I always eat at 1908 and I will make sure we will never come again.

Stopped after game ended at Fairway Fields. Parking lot full, overflow across street. There was plenty of room for our large group to sit at 3 adjacent tables. The food came out quickly. It was really good. No pictures but I had a salmon club sandwich. It was delicious but juicy so the bun got useless quickly. Maybe try the salad version. The fried pickles are spears not slices and had a kick to them. Cheese balls are good. No complaints on the wide variety of things the 11 of us ate.
The bathrooms are decorated with a lot of pictures. Sport illustrated swimsuit covers in the men's room. Ladies room has pics of sports men. See video!
The only complaints were the waitress seemed a bit confused and it was really loud. It was difficult to hear the person sitting across the table from me.
