El Dorado Mexican Restaurant and Grill

The waitress tried to scam us by charging us dinner prices for a lunch menu, after asking for our check twice, we went up front and she rang our 11am lunch fajitas at dinner prices, finally the cook came out front, as she didn't know how to run the cash register. The young man was apologizing for her behavior, yet as a new customer it was a TERRIBLE first impression. Take note: the salsa was tomato sauce out of a can with a few spices, margarita had zero alcohol. The waitress had huge false eyelashes long hair, as a heads up.she refused to give us our lunch check. After I asked to see it at the register she refused to give us one!!!! The cook rang us out and said he would take care of it.

This place is wonderful. The sodas are top-notch, you will get seated immediately, and you will get chips and salsa very guickly as the ask if you want quac or queso when you get sat down. When you order you will get your food within 10 minutes. Love this place and go here all the time

The place is dirty. The plates and glasses were chipped. The silverware is so old you can't tell if it's clean. Seats have cracks or tears.

This place does have amazing food. BUT. At some point they must have changed management bc it went downhill fast. It used to have great servers who were so wonderful to our kids. Now you’re lucky if there’s one person working the entire place. Usually the guy up front ignores us for a while until it gets awkward enough to finally seat us. We’ve also came in to pick up food and the people behind the bar don’t usually acknowledge us. The last time a girl was playing on her phone and I’m quite certain she forgot we were there. It’s like the people who work there don’t actual want to work in hospitality. And honestly, I’m not even asking for much. Just say hey and take our order. Plus they’ve gotten our order wrong a few times and the ordering app doesn’t usually work. The service just sucks honestly. It’s a disappointment bc we loved coming here.

I did not want to make this post! The food is very good and the only reason that we keep going back but the SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. And when I say terrible I mean just ordering for takeout is a struggle. Several times Ive tried, phone calls don’t go through and they don’t seem to care to fix the problem. Today I ordered on the app the website told me to download and arrived to pick up with no order of record!!!! They always manage to get the order done but not without attitude and a lot of “it’s not my fault “. This restaurant will not last with horrible service. Sad.
