Food and drinks are good. Staff seems nice unless you show disagreement with their alphabet/LGBT flag. Today with propaganda of all sorts being put in people's faces, many become annoyed or intolerant. I come to Starbucks to read in peace. Im also a proud american and veteran. I support all so if you are to be selective and show 1 flag for for sake of inclusiveness of your group, its only fair you include the other groups i.e. hang a Trump flag. Police and Firefighters flag, 2A flag, Christian flag, Trump flag, autism flag, and how every many we can find. I do t want to bring my kids in here so they can ask questions that I cant explain to themselves in a way that will put them under scrutiny e.g. they have asked how 2 women can have children with no man... how can 2 men make a baby. Why do 2 men have sex and how. These are things that young teens and children are asking. They have impressionable minds and not everyone wants your personal propaganda. We can sum this aggregation up to 1 flag: the american flag.

I ordered a café misto (café au lait) from this location and watched the barista pour milk from the gallon directly into my cup through the window. I brought the drink inside and politely asked for the correct drink. The dark-haired girl did not seem too enthused and remade the drink incorrectly again. I then asked another lighter-haired barista if they could just make me a latte instead, which she did correctly and apologized. After seeing the reviews for this location, I’m saddened to know that my favorite local location closed and not this one…

also my drink taste like pumpkin water dude 😭 nasty and my sandwich is half cold. but ok.. also ur employees r straight up RUDE to people their age ?? like hello.. don’t be surprised when somebody throws their TERRIBLY made drink at you because of how you act. literal weirdos.

This morning I ordered a Grande hot pumpkin spice latte and it didn't taste like pumpkin spice at all. It tasted like a watered-down latte. This is the second time I've gotten a unfavorable coffee in Norwalk, Iowa.
I’ve noticed a lot of bad reviews but I can say I’ve honestly never had a problem once. They’ve always been really friendly.

Ordered my drink through the app and received it on time! The store is clean and all of the employees were working hard when I went in to pick up my order.
Came in today around 11:00 and was greeted by a very rude worker taking my order. I got to the window and was served my drink by a girl who was blonde. My drink size was wrong and I had politely told them it is not what I ordered and she told me that the drink automatically comes in a medium size and slammed the sliding window in my face. She gave me my correct drink and did not say thank you or have a nice day afterwards and slammed the window once again. This is my 2nd bad experience here and the baristas are never friendly and seem to always be having a bad day. Very disappointed because this Starbucks is new and local but it is extremely unacceptable on how they are treating their customers. I understand it is fall and the new drinks are out it must be hectic but that is no way to treat anybody.

No stars. We did drive thru at 6am and ordered two lattes - one iced, one hot. She handed us 1 hot that was supposed to be iced. She said we didn’t specify but we did she said “it’s automatically hot” if you don’t say. We did.. and all other baristas I’ve ever had always ask! Then she told us to pull around so she could fix it and said she would also bring my drink. I was still waiting on my other latte that was hot. She walked out and gave us the iced latte and my husband asked where my latte was and she acted extremely annoyed and went inside to get it. She approached our car and said in the most annoyed tone “this wasn’t also iced was it!” And I replied no. We ordered correctly - and I said I DON’T appreciate the attitude. She walked away and did not say anything. If you can’t deal with small inconveniences don’t work in customer service.

I went today at 10:45. Ordered my drink and banana bread for my 3 year old. At the window I asked if it was possible to have her bread warmed up. (Every Starbucks I have gone to (which is many) they usually ask or have zero problem doing this for you). The short dark haired girl rolled her eyes and acted like I just asked her to run a mile. She shut the window on me with really no response. So I just said through the window if it’s really that difficult just to forget it. She goes okay. yeah sorry about that? As I’m getting ready to ask for something again, she shuts the window. I’m wanting a straw (probably too much to ask for in their eyes) so another girl finally comes up and hands me a straw.
I usually do not complain much but this is not the first time or person that’s been absolutely rude. Most of them act like they hate their job and have horrible customer service skill.
Not to mention I have yet to have my shaken expression made correctly. I will not be coming here again.
Highly recommend the CUMMING Starbucks. Every staff member there works hard, is kind, and professional.
**Save yourself the poor attitudes and poorly made coffee and go to another Starbucks.

I ordered using the app, the Horchata shaken espresso which I’ve gotten many times, since it’s been on the menu. From this exact store even. I already know they are required to use a lot of ice in the shaken espresso’s, but this time it was 80-90% ice. Literally 1 drink and the liquid no longer covered all of the ice. So I brought it back assuming it would be re-made with a more reasonable amount of actual coffee. Instead the manager/owner stopped me half way through my explanation to the barista and said, they’d just received training and that the ridiculous amount of ice was correct and that if I wanted more milk I should order a latte. I tried to explain that I get these from her store often and it was just this particular one that I thought was too much ice but I was dismissed. How could the customer possibly know, from ordering this on the app, that it will be (NOT EXAGGERATING) ice to the top of the cup!?!? No offer to remake. No option to change order. I had nothing but ice after my 2nd sip for a $7 coffee and a $1 tip. Not that it should make a difference but I’ve gone to this store 3-4 days a week for a minimum of 2months. That $8 will be the last I spend at this store. I can drive 5mins in any direction and be at another Starbucks. Terrible customer service.

I’ve lived in Norwalk for over 10 years, and I was genuinely excited when Starbucks opened in town. We’ve had nothing but great experiences here—friendly staff, clean store, and our orders are always spot on.
Recently, I placed a mobile order that was delayed, and I was in a bit of a rush to get to a doctor’s appointment. I let the manager know as I was leaving, and the team jumped into action. Shout out to Marcus (I believe that was his name)—he made sure my order was prioritized and got me out the door quickly. On top of that, they even offered a gift card to make up for the inconvenience, which was totally unexpected and appreciated.
Mistakes happen—it’s how a team responds that matters, and they handled it perfectly. I’ll continue to be a regular here. Nothing but 5 stars from me!

I rushed to this location to get thete before close to only pulled through the drive through and had an employee tell me they are closed. It was 7:50pm so I thought they were still open as their website says 8:00pm. Very disappointed in the customer service.
Always a great experience. I've ordered ahead as well as just used the drive-thru and always had quick happy service.
