Best Italian food and atmosphere I've had in Iowa. A rustic, tasty delight. And best of all, I got to take home a loaf of their homemade bread for my birthday. Best present ever!

Leo's Italian Restaurant is a local favorite known for their great food and kid-friendly atmosphere. While the prices are a bit high, the portions are large. The side soups and bread are incredible, but the main dishes like manicotti and spaghetti were just alright. The pasta was slightly overcooked. Service was lacking due to being busy, with delays and uncleaned tables. Parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is best for take-out. The gizzards are tender and flavorful, especially when paired with the spicy dip. The fries with special seasoning, homemade pizza, and garlic cheese bread are also highly recommended.
