Toaster is broken and can't get toasted subs, so meats and other items were thrown into plastic dishes and microwaved to be heated, but overall still liked how the sandwiches tasted

Went to Subway on 6/14/24. I order online and pick up said 6:20. I arrived at 6:30. Went inside and they haven’t even started on my food yet. So I waited. I got home and they did not put my meat in my salad. To me it just seems like this restaurant has gone down hill. Letting boys run it and they don’t even know what they are doing. And to add while waiting for my food the workers continued to blame one another for not remembering to meat in the salad. Look I don’t care who forgot.. just look at the damn receipt .

Oelwein Subway really SUCKS. They definitely don’t read directions nor do they listen to directions. A PhiliCheesesteak should also be warmed yet the ingredients were ice cold.

We asked specifically for each sub after being cut to be wrapped into two halves because we were not able to eat the entire sandwich as a whole. They said they would do it. What did we get? Four whole subs wrapped in one piece of paper with the sub barely wrapped inside. Yes, falling apar, out of the wrapper.

Franchises should have stricter standards of what goes on inside the stores they allow. Customer service is definitely lacking. When I called the store and told them their mistake the person answered with an attitude, clearly stating I yelled at her and hung up. Then when I tried to call back they placed the phone off the hook. Grow up people.

Logan made my food and he did soo good. It was my second time ordering a salad and the first time I didn’t get croutons and my tomatoes were whole. THIS time I got croutons and my tomato’s sliced into quarters! :) and I’m not for sure on the app how to put meat and cheese toasted so I wrote it in the special instructions slot and he did in fact do it! Super impressed! Definitely going back when he is working!

Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies and options to make vegetarian meals!

I went to subway with full intentions of ordering a 6 inch sub, getting my one year old one of their apple sauces and grabbing a Gatorade for the wife. I walked up to the service counter and began ordering my food. Everything was alright until I got to ordering my vegetables. A sauce I did not ask for was applied to my sandwich so they began scraping off the sauce. So I explained that I didn't want the residual flavor from the sauce that I did not ask for and I would just prefer it be remade. At this point the attitudes started to fly from the manager on duty as she stated "fine I'll just do this." As she removed my meat from the already toasted sandwich. I said that wouldn't work cause I wanted my sandwich toasted and as a regular they know I like it lightly toasted so i didn't want my bread retoasted but it was an issue for me to just get my sub remade. I was yelled at by the store manager as I myself kept a calm reasonable and respectable demeanor. I eventually gave up on my sub and got my one year old his apple sauce and my wife her Gatorade at which point upon purchase I was told I was no longer welcome back at the store... so no I am not happy. And I do not think that the manager or her crew handled a CUSTOMER SERVICE job how any person in their right mind would hope it to be handled.... very dissatisfied with the fact that someone would be placed in charge of the operations of a store who is incapable of carrying herself with dignity and respect. Absolutely will not at any time soon be entering any store where she is employed. A bad day is one thing..... this is my second experience like this with this particular store and manager I asked for her managers contact info and was refused the number and told that her boss manages independence AND oelwein Stores and that she'd be sure I'm not welcome their aswell. please subway.... fix this problem... I enjoy the food but can't enjoy it with people like this standing in my way. She received no disrespect from me and I can't for the life of me imagine why she felt it acceptable to behave this way while on the clock I'm a service position.

Tonight 6, 16, 23. Placed an order for pickup for 8:15, I showed up at 8:35. The store was closed. No food for me to pick up and they kept my money. This store has become totally worthless to use in the evening because they continually close early. Even though their hours state they are open until 9:00 p.m. You should never use this restaurant for Subway until they change leadership or ownership or workers.

The sandwiches are always great, prepared well. Just wish the young ladies that worked there didn't look like they didn't want to be there. The older lady that works mornings is great though!!

Spent 25 bucks for lunch for a 6inch, a 12 inch two drinks, and a cookie.Ladies behind the counter seemed in a bad mood today, mom got a stomachache from her 6 inch. Thank goodness for Pepto bismo. Dining in was awkward because both sandwich artists looked upset about something. Not sure why the sour faces, my 12 inch was good, I bought the medically. Next time we visit it would be nice to see more friendly faces.

Kid-friendliness: Didn't look too friendly today.

Last time we were in at night about a week and half ago. There was a high school kid on veggies and register. After he put veggies on, he rang is out on the register, he didn't take off his gloves, after he was done with the register, he went straight back to the line and started putting veggies on the next sandwich without washing his hands or change gloves. As a former subway manager, I think that this is gross and how germs spread from the register to someone else sandwiches. he did that for several customers.

Yeah... didnt even come close to the picture... shows to different kinds of grated cheese. Given slice of one kind only. Sandwich wrapped so tight, bread flattened into a thick tortilla. LolIt is what it is.
