This place is an Okoboji classic, I can’t tell you the number of experiences we’ve had over 32 years eating here.
A couple of notes of interest for you;
1. We are allowed to buy pie before 11am now (wahoo)
2.O’farrell sisters granddaughter bakes the pies (she’s lovely)
3. New owner and staff are amazing

The most delicious chocolate chip pancakes in the area! I’m sure the blueberry and the plain are just as delicious! ❤️

O'Farrell Sisters Restaurant is a breakfast spot in the Okoboji area, tucked away in a cozy neighborhood by the lake. The food is delicious and surprisingly not expensive. The workers are the most good kind genuine people. The place feels like a welcoming home, with big windows letting in tons of natural light.
The breakfast is amazing, with excellent eggs Benedict variations, French toast, and giant cinnamon rolls. Specific meals mentioned include the country Benedict, the Boji Browns topped with an over-easy egg and hollandaise, and the half order of the Hangover. The buttermilk pancakes are huge, and the Mickey mouse pancakes with sausage are very good. The banana cream pie is the best pie ever. The pickle Bloody Mary is delicious.
Service is fast and respectful. Sometimes the order is slightly wrong, but customers are always served in a timely and respectful manner. The owner once reached out after a bad experience, offered a free meal, and the staff was very friendly. Customers always get their money's worth and will definitely be coming back.
