Nice little bistro with a limited food menu. Food and coffee were good, but on the pricey side.

Personally I am not someone who enjoys coffee or "high class" establishments. I decided to come here before I went to work one day to get a small snack after breakfast. Previously, I have been here before, and every time I left somewhat disappointed, except for the gelato. Today, I wanted to get a croissant, as I saw they had them online. However, when I walked in, there was none to be seen. I figured "screw it, stroopwaffels are always good," and against my better judgement I went with that. The stroopwaffel was 4.50, which is outrageous to me because you can get packs of 8 small ones for roughly the same price. So I figured this would have to be the best stroopwaffel I had ever had. I got back to my car and had two bites, and it was horrendous. The filling tasted almost of fruit or coffee, and left a horrible after taste. It's supposed to be caramel, not whatever was in the one i had. This alongside my previous visits also being over priced and under delivering (an order of chocolate milk tasting more like they had dropped a single drop of chocolate syrup in an ocean of milk) I can't say i'm surprised, just disappointed. This, alongside the fact that they ask for a tip on top of your already insanely expensive purchase, is obscene. I would hope the employees aren't being paid on a tip system similar to a restaurant. Overall, I feel like Brad's is more of a status symbol than an actual place to eat / drink. You go there to say that you can afford to do so.

The place is clean and welcoming. Staff were courteous and helpful. Very sorry that I gifted my wife with a gorgeous lemon meringue cheesecake. Delivered it to her with such hopes to bring her cheer, but it was not fresh nor delicious. Honestly, I suggest that any left in the case need to be thrown out. Sorry, but they are too expensive to not be as delicious as they appear. Try harder.

This is the cutest place and the only place I've found inside Iowa or outside of Paris that has a true Patisserie type selection. Get yourself to Brad's!

Work near this place and love coming in for a little sweet treat. Not many classy pastry shops in Iowa so this truly is a find. I personally love getting their cruffins as the cream flavor gets changed frequently. Their cheesecake and fruit tarts are also some of the best I've had.The only bad thing I have to say about this place is that they truly have the worst tasting macaroons I've ever had. Every time I've had them they have been grainy and almost stale or like frozen? Almost seems like they use icing as the filling which is very odd. They should definitely work on their recipe.Other than that it's an awesome place to visit.

Amazing experience! Drove over an hour to check it out...did not disappoint! Breakfast sandwich was excellent along with the drinks! Hidden gem in a small town...worth the trip! Thank you for the experience!!
