I got food from the Orange City Taco Johns today for the second time. My tacos and potato oles were cold. I very disappointed as it cost me almost ten dollars. On the upside, the person waiting on me gave a small discount for not getting a soda after ordering #2.

Ordered extra cheese and charged for it in the drive-through and didn't receive it. Didn't know until after I left, disappointed.

Love the boss bowl, so good! However this last time I got maybe 4 bites (very small) of steak. The drive thru guy was kind and friendly, service was quick but very skimpy on the meat. Definitely not work the $10 I paid for it.

Dear Orange City Taco John’s,
I don’t know what I did to deserve this. Usually in horror stories it’s a cold and stormy night. Last night was sunny and hot and my friends and I wanted some potato oles. After last night, I think we’ll have to get
psychologically hypnotized to forget potato oles in order to avoid taco johns at all costs. We got there around 6:00 and we realized for the first time that our order was wrong. We turned around and went back to get our cheese sauce, two tacos, potato oles and guac we had ordered but hadn’t received. We weren’t mad because mistakes happen and no one is perfect. We waited inside while they fixed another groups order. I guess they need a line to order and a separate line to get your order fixed. They occur at the same rate. They asked for our receipt and all the food so we brought that in. Thankfully I got one quick bite of my burrito before it was ripped away from me. We got back to the car and tried to leave after 15mins but the lack of half of our food made us go back in. So that’s mistake #2, everyone. We are now missing two cheeses, our guac, a medium potato ole, and a taco. What? So it actually got worse somehow. We go back inside because the 3rd times a charm, right? WRONG!! This is where it gets somehow worse. We are standing inside and tell them everything we are missing. They apologize and say the food will be done soon. Instead of, I don’t know working, one of the boys is just glaring at us. They start talking in Spanish and thankfully our two years of high school Spanish paid off!! We heard the boy say to another worker ā€œpinche cabronā€. I’ll let yall google that ? the older lady then mentions in Spanish how this is annoying. I agree it is annoying. I’ve worked with food for 5 years and I understand that workers are not perfect and that customers can be annoying. However I think you have bigger fish to fry at the moment. (Hopefully my missing medium potato oles, but probably not). So we stand there waiting, hoping for a miracle. Then one happens. This young man working comes up to us with a smile on his face offers us some free churros and asks how many we want. We hear him tell his coworkers ā€œandaleā€. So thank you very much for advocating for us. He was clearly the youngest, but I think he should be promoted to an assistant manager and maybe even CEO. We then get our food at around 6:35. I check the bag and see the food. I only saw the one cheese so I reach to the bottom without pulling everything out. I feel around and find a little cup so I’m like okay we have everything. We walk out and get to the car after 35 minutes in a FAST food joint. We unpack the bag and thankfully we have all the main food. (After 3 tries and some offerings to God himself) I then take out the little cup and it’s a stinkin sour cream? What? I mean thank you for the sour cream, but I would have preferred what I actually ordered? Oh well. It’s just some sauces. I have been a vegetarian for the last 5 years but that changed today. I bite into my burrito after being so hungry my stomach started eating itself. Exciting, yes! No, not exciting. My burrito had chicken even though I asked for no chicken. The first one didn’t have chicken so I thought I was safe to not check it. I guess I had too much faith. People aren’t perfect and won’t be perfect. Yet continuously messing up, barely trying, and being extremely rude is not okay. Goodbye Orange City Taco John’s. I’ll send you an invoice of our therapy sessions. I won’t be seeing you again. I think you need to work on yourself A LOT. It’s not me, it is FULLY you. PLEASE change.

Not what I ordered, told me they didn't have something on the menu and it was $22 for a tiny burrito, a taco that only had lettuce a drink and a small potato olĆØ

Super burrito was an equivalent to a soft shell with a sqirt of sour cream. Quesadilla had maybe a teaspoon of cheese in the middle, the rest was all tortilla. Boss bowl was half full. I should have got charge half, that's all we got.

You can barely hear the guy speak through the speaker in drive through. I asked for my order to be steak/meat and ended up with chicken. I'm allergic to chicken so I'm glad I looked at my food before I ate it. I ended up throwing it away.

Cashier took order and when we got the receipt the order was wrong. We told the cashier and she argued that we needed to run our card again to fix her mistake. She said we were wrong and that we needed to leave cause we were holding up the line. We asked for the managers name and number and she said she would not give it to us. She then proceeded to yell at us to leave and then slammed the window in our face. This is not how you treat customers.

I try not to have very high expectations when I decide to swing over to the OC TJs. Im usually content if my food if its relatively warm and is accurate to what I ordered. I used the drive through recently on a Wednesday and the employee taking my order must have been pretty fresh and would take these long pause between the order process as if she had been thrown to the wolves to figure out what button to push and what to ask me next from the script. I felt for her, I’ve been there before and makes a fun job even more, fun! When i got to the window she took my payment and gave me my drink and then after I sat for what seemed like an abnormal amount of time I paused candy crush, set my phone down and looked to see what was happening. I saw a bag at the end of a make line prep table and new johns standing next to it kinda fidgeting nervously like she knew she should do something but there had been no direction delegated for her to even forget, what she could do. And then from the grace of God a buzzer went off and she got a look on her face that even gave me some confidence that everything might be alright. Hot potatoes in my bag, it must be my lucky day! She handed me the johntastic grub and i scampered off to find a low lit quiet place to see what mysteries await me.Bag Highlights:1. Patty Os had zero seasonings. Only the flavor of not just but soon, oil that should be changed.2 Zero Napkins. Its fine, thats half the reason i wear pants anyway.3.loosely wrapped tex-mex items.Hey its all going in the same place anyway, right? Conclusion and Analysis.Hard to be disappointed when you have zero expectations.Training, its a thing. Might be helpful. Keyword is might.Stay johnzzzie taco land
