One of my favorite restaurants in little Sioux county. Food is always good, maybe a little cold sometimes but I’ve never left this place dissatisfied. A little pricey but that’s expected at a bar and grill.
A big group of us stopped by the food truck on RAGBRAI, and it did not disappoint. That burger was hands down the best thing I ate all week, and we were greeted with a friendly smile. We had a number of teammates asking for us to bring more of the loaded fries back to the campground. If the food was that good on the trailer, I have to assume it's even better in the restaurant propper.
This is my first time in Iowa. I’m here for work and being 11 hours from home, The Roadhouse made the trip worth it. I’ve visited here twice while in the area. The first time I had the BLTA Flatbread, Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls, and the Reese’s Peanut Butter Milkshake. The 2nd time was with work. I had the Mac N Cheese Burger and fries, it was delicious. I tried the Tikki Mule and Berry Berry Mule. Both were fantastic. Lastly, my server recommended the Cookie Dough Shake....
