The food here is always amazing and full of flavor. The wings are cooked to perfection with their homemade ranch that taste so good you could drink it lol. Crab ragoon pizza is better than Fongs in Des Moines.

I randomly found this spot while driving through town and honestly, it was such a good surprise. Right when I walked in, I felt super welcome and the vibe was really chill and cozy. I got the wings and pizza and both were insane. The wings were perfectly crispy and super tasty, and the pizza was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The service was quick and everyone was super friendly without being too much. Felt like hanging out at a friend’s place. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area. If you go, you have to try the wings and pizza.

Party of 5 on 6/23/25. I had the BEST tenderloin sandwich ever. Large, thick and very flavorful. Another person in our party had the walleye sandwich. He loved it! The onion rings were crispy and sweet and fried to perfection. The boneless wings were great as well. The only negative comment is the fries could have been cooked another minute longer. They were on the floppy side. Don’t let the exterior of the building fool you I live an hour and a half away, and if I lived closer, I would definitely go back again The service was very good as well. Our server was very attentive.

Food only gets one star tonight. My sister was in town and I had bragged about how good the homemade onion rings are. So she wanted to try them. I picked some up and 90% of the order was no onion ring. Just little balls of breading. First bad experience I've had at this place couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Love this place but I will NEVER return. Ordered a delivery order and was told my total was $80 something. Well the driver took it upon himself and tipped himself an extra $10 AND they charged my card twice. Will be contacting my bank. Just lost a customer.

The food was cold, but not as cold as the wait staff's personality. She was rude, slow to get our food and our bill out, and she insulted my friend for literally no reason. The floor was filthy, the table was rickety, and my stomach hurt afterwards.
The pictures on google are old and misleading, the floor was concrete, not wooden (unless there's just so much dirt you can't tell), and to put a bow on the whole ordeal, we were charged more than the lunch specials our server mentioned.

Never go here, lest you meet the same fate.

Benchwarmers is a great family friendly environment, and they have AMAZING affordable food. Most of everything they make is from scratch. The service we had last night was very friendly and attentive. She checked on us often and made sure we had a great time. Definitely recommend coming here for a good meal with your friends or family! They also do delivery or take out!!!

I've been to benchearmers a multitude of times before and never has it been this bad. I called for a pickup order and when I got there there were a total of 6 people, 2 tables of 3, seated. It took them 7 minutes for someone to come assist me. Once I got my food I had high hopes because like I said I'd been there before. However, when I opened my food, the wings were soggy, yet barely sauced. How that works, I don't know. I'd love to go back but I DO NOT want to spend $12 on 6 wings that taste like they've been microwaved from the freezer
