The ambiance gives off Backyard grill in the summer vibes, I came with a party of 9 so expectingly, Service took a bit but it was faster than I expected, and they were kind too, and the food, I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and it was big and meaty, and not tall big, Wide Big, I also got the Lava Cake and Ice Cream and it was melty and warm

Had the pork tenderloin. It was fine. Bland but fine. My husband ordered breaded catfish which had way too much breading. He couldn't eat it. Said the fish inside was slimy. Never saw the person that served us again as we sat with empty glasses. I believe they appeared to be the bartender also. I wouldn't ever go back.

Service was confusing. Two waitresses kept coming to our table so one didn't know what the other had already done. I asked about detail of the special and they didn't know what it consisted of. I'd think with having just one special they would know. Food portions were huge and the food was good. They have garage style doors that open in the Summer so I think that would be cool. Nothing spectacular but not terrible. I'd give it another try.

Football games on the TV's, cheese burger and cheese balls, couple beers. Cool atmosphere, good people good hospitality. Gave my teenage boy his first Job.Kid-friendliness: They gave my kid a job. And they flexible with my son scheduled sporting events and practices.

Had a Cobb salad and requested regular cheese instead of Bleu, cucumbers, and avocado. Needless to say it was made to perfection. Friend had a ribeye sandwich and said it was perfect and ordered the same thing the next day for lunch. I had the B.L.A.T. we were from out of town and this place felt like home. Staff was super friendly. Service and atmosphere was great. Only con about his place is if you go for lunch expect to he there for the entire hour if it's busy. I still give it 5 stars. Great place to eat in Ottumwa.

Night Wind
Took my parents there for an early anniversary dinner. Our fish & chips were decent, batter was a bit heavy & over cooked & you couldn't tell they were beer battered. My Dad had the pulled pork & loved it. My Mom had the black bean burger. She would have appreciated a different healthy choice for the side, instead of fries & could have done without the avocado. Service was acceptable, but could have done without the boss scolding people in the kitchen regarding keeping their hands to themselves or next time they'll be fired, loud enough we could hear them in the dinning room over all the sports on TV. I could have done without the tvs too. Too sports bar ish for my preference. Food was worth a second visit, but the atmosphere won't make it our first choice.

I love going here on Sundays to watch NFL games the service is amazing and food orders are fast for sure. All around it’s definitely worth it! I’ve been there a few times and now making it my permanent place to go.
