Terrible customer service. Sales constantly mislabeled and when asked about the sale always met with rude remarks, see so many employees standing around but then seem to run away when you go up to them for help. Once had a girl at the checkout who was the only one who seemed to be working have me go up to a couple of managers only for them to talk to each other and turn their backs to me, then while I patiently waited for them to finish their conversation they just kept inching away from me… I went back to the self checkout for the cashier behind me to fix the problem for me. I’ve had the last straw when they had no checkouts open besides self checkout, I left my mom to checkout while I went to warm up the car, for her to come out thirty minutes later crying because no one would help her when she needed help at the self checkout. I work in retail and I know customer service can be hard, but this is unacceptable.

they did an excellent job on our cake for our wedding. delivery arrived on time and the rainbow color cake was a big hit with everyone! thanks so much for making our wedding day even better!

I want to give a huge shout out to the very nice gentleman that was handing out the free ice water today around noon. He heard me tell my toddlers that their favorite car cart wasn't available so we would have to use a normal cart. He told me to hold on just a second and went out into the parking lot and specifically found it for us and cleaned it down! I wish I had remembered to get his name. His actions made 2 little girls day!

"no soup for you"well good and bad.i have had a bad run on trusted places this mid dec.so mid day sunday they had in the local paper a 3 day specials adand had a hot turkey or hot beef for 5.00 yea some times you have to go for the comfort food.i guess washing out at 2 other places today did not help.all set to my third choice of lunch...parking is always a nightmare at this location.no close to the door parking.not handy for the deli folks who want a grab and go shopping experience.they shut down the hot food service on the american hot food from1-4 pm....not kidding!the china food looked tired, and same on the pasta...so plan on prime time food to go only at this location...not a good day for a guy who at this point was too late for lunch.

I live in Minneapolis but visit my parents in ottumwa and shop at south side Hy-Vee and Starbucks! Very nice and clean store and friendly staff! Thanks to the employees who choose to show up every day! Special shout out to Jim Cain who was very kind and friendly as he checked me out early morning one day last week! Always has a great smile and welcoming attitude!
