Anybody who says their food portions are small are lying. They serve very good portions, pupusas are AMAZING. Maybe just don’t be so fat😐. Customer service is fantastic. Been here 3-5 times on separate occasions with family and they are extremely nice. 5 star place definitely recommend visiting.

Quiet little place, great food and friendly people

Kid-friendliness: There is no okay room or any games. But the gentleman was playful with the kiddo's.

This place is small and only accepts cash but it is always a stop for me when I am in Iowa. Friendly and the food is great.

Parking: There is street parking but also a parking lot behind the building. Just look for the orange doors front and back on Church Street.

We got a large order for an event and the food was amazing! This is a mom and pop type of place and they were so sweet. I'm pretty sure they gave us a lot of extra food. We got papusas and and chicken/potato tamales. They are the type wrapped in banana leaf and were super moist. I lived on the sw side of Chicago for many years and these were definitely some of the best tamales and papusas I've ever had. This place is a gem, especially for a town like Ottumwa. Cash only and these is gas station across the street w/ an atm.
