I recommend YES on the delicious food. But NO on mischarging. Today Nov 13, 2025,my husband ordered the regular Monte Cristo at $9.60 plus a salad at $1.75. However they charged him for the deluxe sandwich which included salad and fries.. PLUS the salad that he ordered. When we tried to point it out at the cash register and held out the menu to show their price, the waitress grabbed it from my hand and said something about some people just don't read the menu. Riverside Family Restaurant is a great spot for tasty, hearty food at very reasonable 2025 prices. The service was warm and friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

I had the Gyro Omelet (pictured), and it was delicious—loaded with flavorful toppings, just the way most of us like it. The pancakes were also quite good.

The atmosphere is typical of a classic diner—maybe a bit dated, but that adds to its charm rather than detracts...

We came here on mother's Day so the restaurant was extremely busy. No fault of their own. The reason I gave this a 4/5 stars is because the my skillet I ordered was cold. The eggs were cold and the mushrooms weren't thoroughly cooked. However the hash browns were warm and the dish it's self was tasty. Again they were extremely busy but the entire staff is nice and worked very well together.
