Excellent dining experience and tasty foods. Sea bass was the culinary highlight here.Amazing service, I can't emphasize this enough, as it's a rare feat this day and age.Probably the best part of dining here is the attention to Iowa craft beers and the ability to get flights. Management stopped by table and we spoke of her strategy to rotate Iowa local beers on tap. Am really pleased to see this establishment in Ottumwa. Keep up the great work!

From the moment I entered the restaurant I was welcomed. The staff was super nice and very knowledgeable about the menu and even shared a few recommendations from the menu when we didn’t know what to order. We decided to get two shareables and split them instead of getting two entrees. We ended up getting the steak flatbread and the alligator, both of which were amazing.

Managed to get a reservation last minute during a busy night since Bridgeview had an event next door. Great atmosphere and cocktails, had the cherry smoked old fashioned wife had a draft cider both were incredible. Had some gulf oysters for an appetizer were fresh and tasty. Wife had the sea bass and it was crazy good sauce made the dish. Filet came a bit over temp from mid rare manager corrected it and comped it without any question handled our table and filet refire perfectly. Kitchen nailed the most perfect mid rare filet second time was incredibly well cooked with a side of bernaise sauce. We ordered the brussel sprouts and whipped potato sides, both were cooked to perfection and well seasoned sizes are perfect for sharing. Dessert we had the tiramasu and chocolate cake both were delicious. We will definitely be back, shout out to the manager I didn't catch her name that handled everything with grace and a high level of professionalism ensuring our expierence was memorable with a full dining room.Kid-friendliness: We had our newborn with us the staff sat us at a table with plenty of room for our car seat stroller for our daughter to be next to us. It's a resturant expect noise but our kid didn't seemed to be phased at over 2 hours plus. it's a dining experience plan accordingly.

This was hands down the best dining experience I've ever had in the Midwest! This is quality you have to travel to Vegas or Las Angeles for. Highly recommend!

First time in since they opened up a few months ago. Food quality is on par with the price point for the restaurant, staff is new and still learning but service was slow, half an hour from being seated until we had drinks on the table. Manager did touch the table a few times to help out and was actively working the dining room. This was a good addition to the area that brings a higher quality of food than is available anywhere close. We will be back.

Good selection of drinks available. The food was what can only be described at mediocre. Seating was looking a wall with no pictures or anything else. Staff were good. Bartender needs to learn how to mix drinks.

I’ve been visiting Ottumwa, IA for work over the last couple months and Wissota Chophouse kept coming up as somewhere I needed to try. Finally decided to treat myself and it did not disappoint! The steak was cooked to perfection, their beer and wine lists were excellent, and the staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Whether you live here or just passing through, do yourself a favor and dine here. You won’t be let down!

We spent our 26th wedding anniversary here last evening and we were simply AMAZED at the incredible food, ambiance, kindness of the hostess/waitress... and plan to return again! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem with food that really makes your mouth water! FAR EXCEEDS ANY PLACE WE HAVE BEEN IN DES MOINES AND IS LOCATED IN OTTUMWA.... This restaurant to sure to become an award winner!

Food and service was 10/10. Michelle helped me and was beyond excellent, food was wonderful and the restaurant was really clean. Prices were great considering the excellent quality and service, will return!!

A great addition to Ottumwa for a special evening or just something unexpected in town. If you're a raw oyster fan the North Atlantic Oysters are wonderful, just ask Andrew (our server) who tried it for the first time. His alligator shareable recommendation was also fantastic. The manager was very friendly and knowledgeable visiting several times ensuring we were having a great time - which we were. We'll certainly make this a stop every time we're in town.
