5 stars all the way. The Hideout may be a small hole-in-the-wall bar in Germantown, but wow, the food was excellent. I hadn’t been there in probably 15 years and it was every bit as good as I remembered. The broasted chicken was outstanding — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. My spouse had the chicken tenders and loved those too. Everything came out hot and fresh and there wasn’t anything left on our plates.

Chickens always a good choice. Nice and moist.
We popped in at 5 on a Saturday, right when they opened. A large group had called ahead with their order for the broasted chicken (which is recommended) so we ordered mushrooms while we waited for our chicken. We were told right off the bat that our wait for chicken would be about 45 minutes due to the large order, and we were very willing to wait. The mushrooms were delicious.
