To start, this is not a gluten free friendly place.Went to lunch and ordered the turkey & havarti with a gluten free bun & coleslaw, my boyfriend ordered the double Dutch sandwich. The guy we ordered with also wasn’t super personable. Maybe work on being more knowledgeable of your menu.I went to pick up our order when our buzzer went off and there were two ordered up there so I asked which was mine. The 3 meant behind the counter didn’t even look at me or acknowledge my presence. I asked again asking which one had the gluten free bun, and one pointed.I was so appalled that no one acknowledged me I grabbed the order and went upstairs where we decided to sit. Then realized they forgot my coleslaw. Went back down and said asked if they could get me coleslaw and the guy responded very rudely like “honey we will get you your coleslaw.”Forward to finally eating, my sandwich I ordered clearly did not have a gluten free bun we paired $2 extra dollars for. I thought his sandwich maybe had the gluten free bun but we couldn’t tell so I was nervous to eat either sandwich. We agreed that the food had good flavor but unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy my lunch because of the fear of my gluten allergy.The market next door was friendly!Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free buns but you won’t get it with your order.

Brewhuis was recommended to us and it did not disappoint! Wife had Shrimp Scampi, which was wonderful and I had a Fantastic Ribeye steak. Perfectly cooked, LARGE portion of meat. Flavor was fantastic. Chef came out to make sure our meal was to satisfaction. Nice touch. Wonderful experience at Butchers Brewhuis and felt welcomed in the city of Pella, Iowa

Wow!! My new favorite place in Pella! Wonderful food, atmosphere and service. This place was so busy, and everyone was so friendly, courteous, and it was just a great experience! It's well worth a trip to Pella! I had the Reuben sandwich, it was delicious! Thank you Butchers Brewhuis for a really great food experience!

We stopped in on a Friday evening and got seated quickly. I ordered the pork chop, and my friend had the Chicken breast sandwich. The service was okay, but the food was sub-par. The pork chop was overcooked to the point of tasting like cheap Wal-Mart honey-glazed ham.There are much better options in the area.

I've eaten here several times since I meet up with an old college friend a few times a year in Pella. The soups are always good. The sandwiches are even better. I especially like the Torpedo sandwich.

We ordered a ribeye and Double Dutch burger, both were excellent and cooked perfectly. The whole staff was awesome and the chef personally came out and asked if everything was prepared to our liking. And our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Will definitely will go back to try the smoked pork chop. Awesome place.Parking: We parked right in.front of the place.
