Our experience was affected from the beginning when the waitress refused to swap out the fried rice for another side (my wife has gestational diabetes). The waitress never really gave us the time of day after our special request. Other than that, the food was actually quite good. We had a bento box and steak dinner.
I was seated immediately for lunch on a Wednesday.
- Restaurant was cute and clean inside. Very friendly staff.
- I ordered the lunch special (2 rolls: crunch & eel and avocado roll), 2 orders of salmon nigiri, and 1 order of tobiko.
- Pretty good for what I would expect in Pella.

Cute restaurant with a very friendly staff. I usually judge my sushi restaurants by how well they make their tuna rolls. Their tuna roll wasn’t great. It wasn’t bad…it just wasn’t great. My other roll was also a tuna based roll and it lacked flavor. The highlight of the meal was the soup. It was delicious. Maybe the next time I go I will get the hibachi.
