It seems like a good family-run restaurant. The food was pretty good and delicious. Some servers may have off days. The salsa is not too spicy, and the horchata is a hit with kids. While the food may not be the healthiest, it's still satisfying. They have lunch specials which is nice on the wallet. La Feria has the best patio views in Des Moines. You get chips and salsa for the table too. The food is wonderful and overall highly recommend! They also have delicious frozen margaritas and churros.
