Stopped here for dinner one night and it was a mixed experience. My guest and I were seated immediately and our server was fairly quick getting our drink order and served. The water is most likely unfiltered tap water and surprisingly the iced tea had less flavor than the water.The dinner menu is incredibly limited so if you're looking for more options, this probably isn't the diner for you. Our server came and got our orders and the food came out quickly. Our orders were plated nicely, but the ingredients used are not of the best quality and the dishes tasted as such. The french fries and onion rings were pretty good and it was evident that they change their oil regularly. The Reuben was tasty, but a slightly larger portion of corned beef would have helped tremendously. The chicken sandwich was not enjoyable at all, the pickles had no crisp and the brine they used is just sour, nothing else. The chicken fillet itself was slightly rubbery, flavorless and the lettuce was a little soggy.The restaurant itself has the classic nostalgic diner look to it and it could be kept a little cleaner albeit I visited an hour or 2 before closing. Parking is spacious and the service was good. Not much on the value scale as the portions were slightly under when compared to price. In the end it's just your average diner.

Sadly this place was just awful.We got seated at a booth on the far wall and it was just SO dirty. The blinds were covered with a thick layer of dust and ketchup. The floors throughout the diner were covered with dirt and trash.We then proceeded to wait AN HOUR for two kids meals and two adult meals.The food was ok but definitely not worth the $68 that we paid for it.Definitely do not recommend the Pleasant Hill Diner.

Honestly some of the best burgers and fries I've eaten. I love the environment, from the decor to the jukebox the atmosphere is fun and lively. The workers are real people and I've never heard a negative thing from anyone! This an amazing restaurant, I always enjoy my time here.Kid-friendliness: For my brother we go in there and while he's still too young to play the claw machine he loves the little to-go firetruck, old car, santa sleigh that they give out. I'm pretty sure you have to ask about them to receive one, they're on a shelf

I ordered delivery from here and I should've just cooked at home. The bacon and ham were EXTREMELY salty. I didn't even finish it. The eggs and hash browns had no salt or pepper and weren't included in the delivery. The fries were freezing and the chicken was stale. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I won't be ordering/visiting this place again.
