Amazing burgers! Matt was great as well!
Burger was good and service outstanding. Matt did a good job.
Hubby and I both had the humpback burger. He had crinkle fries and I had waffle fries. We split a small side order of onion rings. Everything was very well cooked and delicious! Service was top tier! Very friendly and efficient. Two thumbs up!
Winner of the best burger in Iowa. Not a smash burger but a nice meaty patty that leaves fast food in the dust! Try the humpback or the farm house.
We intentionally waited several weeks after they won the best burger award to give them time to work out any issues. Table of four — we all received burgers that were embarrassingly overcooked — dry and without flavor and a pretty tough texture. The crinkle cut fries were requested extra crispy and we got the opposite…floppy fries that were warm, not hot. Staff was very friendly but under-staffed. I would give them a second chance if they were closer but unlikely I’ll drive the 30 minutes.

Burgers were top notch! No wonder they won the Iowa competition. We had the humpback and the barnyard. My wife liked the humpback better but they were equally loved by me. We will be back!!
First time we've eaten at Halftime. Stopped there after reading that it was one of the 2025 Iowa's Best Burger contest finalists announced by the Iowa Beef Industry Council. Had the "Southwestern" burger. FANTASTIC! WIll go back. Was a little worried as Smash & Grab Burger in Knoxville was also on the list that they can't hold a candle to Halftime!

I placed an order to go last night. It was horrible. I threw it away. Had a great experience there before, it’s going downhill.
