Highly recommend just straight pouring the queso over your steak. Simply amazing. Friendly service and worth the price. Would stop through again!

El Amigo Mexican Restaurant is a place that many have found to be a gem. The food is described as delicious, with flavor, and portion sizes are big enough that take home boxes are needed. The steak Torta is one meal that is enjoyed. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff is attentive, very accommodating, sweet, and friendly. One waitress was very polite and did an excellent job with the drinks. A Miami Vice, including the garnish, was absolutely loved. The service is prompt, and orders come to the table extremely hot and freshly made. Even when the place was completely packed, with every single table occupied, the food came out in a timely manner. The staff is careful with allergies, making sure a steak was made away from any seafood for a nephew allergic to shrimp, and substituting fries without getting upset. The prices were called amazing. This restaurant stays open past 8pm, serves beer and mixed drinks, and has great Mexican food. Many cannot wait to visit again and will definitely be back.
