Polk City Pub is a charming spot with a friendly staff and delicious food. The spinach dip and hot ham + cheese with onion rings were a hit. The French dip and fries were also tasty. The breaded tenderloin, described as the best in central Iowa, was absolutely delicious and filling. The reviewer was willing to drive 30 minutes for this quality of food and service. Close by, The Old Creamery ice cream was a delightful treat.
