Perfect mom n pops local favorites. Tiny eatery with big delicious food to full you up. Our kiddos enjoyed the play dough ice cream and delicious sandwiches. If you are in polk city this is a must stop. Bypass the national chain on the corner that try to draw you in with their fancy patio and high price. Instead, stop at Rising Sun Cafe and keep the money in the community. This place is perfect, the food is delicious and the ice cream will make your palate happy.

Great little cafe with coffee shop and ice cream. Staff was great and so friendly. Our sandwiches were very good. We chose a cinnamon roll for after with coffee. This is a great place to visit. Very close to the lake and campgrounds.

Wheelchair accessibility: Low top tables for access.

Amazing place for breakfast and lunch! I have gotten my food to go and have dined in. Everyone at rising sun was very helpful and extremely kind! The owner even made sure she greeted us herself! Top notch service - I will definitely be back!
