I have eaten Goldie’s for years since I was from the area. It’s done way down hill. My order was wrong, they forgot my fries. And everything is way over priced. Tenderloins are really freaking overrated. Not even good. So dissatisfied and disappointed will never be returning.

Great service and cool old building. The food was great. Personally I am not a fan of beer battered anything so that wasn't great for me. The tenderloin itself was perfect thickness. We will definitely go back.

A steady stream of customers is indicative of the quality and selection of food. Prairie City’s population doubles when Goldies is open. Go for ice cream or the meals. You won’t be disappointed. Working my way through the menu on road trips I can confirm the family has enjoyed the tenderloin, Goldie fries, and the following twisties - Monster cookie, Cookie dough, cake batter, and brownie.

Take the detour if you want great food.

Always a treat to travel to Goldie’s. Their pork tenderloin is truly an Iowa Masterpiece and their Ice Cream is a notch above. What really makes Goldie’s special is the staff. Mostly younger wait staff who are kind and attentive. They are always busy and the staff never gets flustered. Great small town restaurant with charm and great food!

Great pork tenderloin.

Food was great! Fast service.
But I went through the drive thru and I asked if there was utensils and napkins. The young man said yes but there was Not.

Ice cream shop with an authentic old school diner atmosphere, local beef from the meat locker down the road. Im not sure it gets more american than this 10/10

Every time I see something on the internet asking where the best pork tenderloin in Iowa is, I always see Goldie’s mentioned.

We went to Goldie’s today for the first time and this is definitely the best pork tenderloin we have had.

I had the pork tenderloin sandwich with cheese curds, and my wife had the pork tenderloin strips with breaded cauliflower. Also, if you like pickles, the pickle is delicious. Crispy and excellent dill flavor.

Food and service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back here.
