Locals told us that the pork tenderloin sandwich was the best and they were right -- seasoned and cooked to perfection. The spicy cheese curds were great! Just a bit on the hot side. This spot is worth a detour - My husband and I were driving through Iowa on a road trip and were hungry for a good pork tenderloin sandwich. This place is the best! Great service, huge and tasty pork tenderloin on a delicious bun with all of the trimmings. We enjoyed the fries and onion rings and then had to split an apple pie with vanilla soft serve ice cream. All at a very good price!
Always a stop when I'm in town whether for a quick shake or a meal. The specials are always a go to! Best tenderloin in Iowa hands down. Forget whatever the choice is for the current year, it's always Goldie's!
