Always a stop when I'm in town whether for a quick shake or a meal. The specials are always a go to! Best tenderloin in Iowa hands down. Forget whatever the choice is for the current year, it's always Goldie's!
Food always good and service was good and always polite and cheerful and welcoming. Hubby and I split the tenderloin and crinkle fries and he got a salad. Then I got the watermelon dol whip ice cream. That I have to say was not a favorite. Left a funny after taste in your mouth after eating eat.
Tenderloin! Get the tenderloin! Great aesthetic, and small town feel. Excellent ice cream and treats. Recently they have switched to a QR code service where you can order your food from your table. I think this is disastrous. Firstly customizing your food is itemized, and if you know Goldie's, there's no shortage of fixing. The lack of interpersonal communication, and customization makes this a hard transition for me. Choosing items from a list for a banana split....like...
