Went here for my mom's birthday. Appetizers and salads came out quickly. Had to wait a while for the steaks, but not too bad. Steaks were delicious. King crab add-on was smaller than expected and underwhelming compared to the king crab I had in Alaska. Chocolate cake was very large. We had leftovers after 2 people eating it. Overall very good dinner. A bit pricey, but we knew that from looking at the menu ahead of time.

Ginger, our waitress, is incredibly amazing! She is such an asset to your restaurant! We done back because of her, excellence at its best. Your rack of lamb is our favorite. You need to serve fresh lobster, steamed or grilled. Seriously! And a good steamed or grilled fish without the breading.

Ruthie's definitely lived up to the hype! We've had this place recommended to us for years, so to celebrate a big milestone, my fiancé took me here. We were able to snag a last-minute reservation on OpenTable, and the entire experience was wonderful. Our waitress was incredibly attentive—our water glasses were refilled frequently, and even when the restaurant got busy, she made sure to check on us. We were seated in a cozy, intimate circular booth on the side, which made the evening feel even more special. What I'd Order Again: ⭐ Alaskan King Crab Legs – Pro tip: Order these as a side to another dish instead of as an entrée—it's much cheaper that way! The crab was incredibly fresh, thanks to their flash-freezing process, and it really hit the spot. ⭐ Lobster Bisque – HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I added this last-minute when our waitress mentioned that people travel just to try it, and it did not disappoint. The freshly cracked pepper, along with the truffle accents, made this so flavorful and rich. ⭐ Cocktails – The drinks were fantastic! I had the Tweed Jacket cocktail and really enjoyed it. What made it even cooler was that our waitress actually created a cocktail that got added to the menu when she started working there—so cool! ⭐ Scallops – Perfectly cooked with a stunning presentation. While I've had better on the coasts, I was impressed given that we're in Iowa. ⭐ Desserts (HIGHLY recommend the homemade coffee ice cream & tiramisu!) – The tiramisu was amazing, and I could tell it was homemade because I nearly choked on the cocoa powder (the ultimate test!). But the real star? The homemade coffee ice cream—absolutely phenomenal.

We had a fantastic experience at Ruthie‘s last night. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday, and when I called ahead to speak to the manager, he was more than willing to accommodate our special requests. Our server was fantastic, checked on us plenty but didn't make us feel, rushed and took very good care of all of our needs. It is so refreshing that no matter which Ruthie's location we go to we always have the same great experience with food and service.

Brought my wife for her birthday and it was incredible. The service alone was a 10/10 from the second you walk in the door. The food was also amazing and well worth the money.

It's was a nice place 930pm quite and not busy... BUT still had to wait for service... had the rack of lamb 1 side way over cooked the other was fine.. there 🔥 is very uneven.... manger fixed the problem, but my server really thought I did know my cooking temps🙁😟😕

This is a classic steak restaurant - nice ambience so that you didn't even know you were inside a casino. It is a hidden gem. The food was very good, plentiful, and the service was wonderful.

We had a another wonderful meal and evening at Ruthies. We always look forward to dining there and it was a great experience again. Beverages and food were amazing and the service was the best!

Had another fantastic dinner with my Godfather. This is always our favorite go to place becaus the food,drinks & service is ALWAYS Top Notch.
Jacob was our server. His professionalsm was quite refreshing. He had great recommendations & coursed everthing out perfectly.

We started out with The Alaskan KIng Crab legs & Trevisio Arugula Lobster salad. The Crab legs were lovely because it was not messy to eat as they had sliced it so all you had to do was use you seafood fork and grab a big chunk of the crab. The Trevisio Sald had a fantastic Saffron Dressing. WOW. I just kept saying how delicious that sald was. It is quite craveable.
I had the 4oz Lobster Tail with my 6 oz Filet Mignon . I ordered a side of the blue cheese which comes in a mini cast iron skillet all nice and caramelized. Cooked to perfection. To add to the fun we also had sauteed Shrimp & a side of garlic mashed potatoes.
We will be back for sure

I brought my visitors from out of town to Ruthie's. They absolutely loved it. The food was delicious. We had an awesome waitress she was on top of everything!! Love eating at Ruthie's!!

My mother and I had the most amazing time! Our waiter, Andy, was phenomenal and our bartender, Mason was a delight. They made it a very special experience for us and I hope they get recognized for such! We can't wait to go again!!!

Excellent My sister and I enjoyed our dinner: she had salmon and liked the presentation and the different tastes complimented each I had the filet and French onion soup; soup was delicious steak was tender and cooked exactly how it was ordered

Went last Saturday. Took 25 min to get a water had to go to bar and get it myself. Place was busy, very understaffed. Waitress was good. Food, seafood app was good, steaks were good. Oscar topping crab was cold as well as the asparagus. Soup was good. Ordered brussell sprouts very disappointed they were under cooked and cold. 3 hr dining experience. Won't be back.

there was four of us. Three of us had the steak tips that we wanted medium rare. We had to send them back because they were well done. We tried to like them but we couldn’t even chew them. One of us had the seafood that ended up getting sick two hours later from food poisoning. Service was good
