“We were up in the Savanna area taking in some fall colors, and I wanted to find a quaint diner for our lunch. This place was exactly what we were looking for. I had the shrimp basket, which was quite generous in terms of portion size. She had a breakfast platter which was equally abundant. We both enjoyed the food and were so happy to not have another bland fast-food dining experience. Sabula is such a unique setting, being on an island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The Island City Cafe made our visit to that area a bit more memorable.“
