We really enjoyed the Cattleman's! A couple of things worthy to note before you visit: call ahead for reservations, if they're full, you won't be seated. The atmosphere is really trendy, and upscale. Especially for Sac City. Cute little town, just not the gem I expected to find. Now to the food; neither my husband or I ordered steak, I know, I know. But I wanted drinks and desserts so I went with chicken. LOL. The sides are ala carte, which is typical for steakhouses. I tried the brussel sprouts, and they were good. Nothing award winning, but I love them, and my family doesn't, so I treated myself. The chicken was perfectly cooked, seasoned correctly. The dessert, well, we took to go, and honestly, I don't need to have again. But the drinks - those were phenomenal. I tried the Wisconsin Sunset and I would drink that again. The Italian Margarita was a bit strong, and a bit burnt on tequila, but I wasn't wasting it. The staff was pleasant, and attentive. And we just truly enjoyed our experience. We look forward to returning, and we'll both have the steak. Oh, my husband had the burger and fries, and loved them both.

Just opened under new ownership, Sac Cattle Co has excellent steaks! They have a modest weekday menu and a heartier Fri-Sun menu. Owners, Chefs and wait staff were very personable and stopped to check on everyone.

Got seated. Waited 45 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers that never arrived. People who got seated 10 minutes afterward got their meal first and I left. Poor service.

Stopped here by chance. Excellent food, my taco salad was the best ever! Great burgers. Special was roast beef sandwich. Would definitely order all again!!! Make sure you have cash. Do not take cards but does have ATM machine close. Thanks!

Save your money! I ordered the Fillet Mignon Oscar and something so expensive should have beautiful flavor. Mine was BLAND! Steak should not be bland! What little crab meat I got, that shouldn't be bland either! The bits of asparagus I got were bland as well! The English muffin was doughy and nasty. My husband said the Hollandaise sauce looked like scrambled eggs. What a joke! The only thing with flavor was the wild rice and that comes out of a microwaveable packet! You should be ashamed of sloppy tasteless Oscar you served me!
