She doesn’t use gloves when handling food was on her phone instead of cooking the hasbrowns we’re over done she spent half the time in bathroom while cooking our breakfast your cook needs to be retrained
The food was good and the servers were friendly however the atmosphere is more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. You order your food at a window and then it’s brought to your table by the server. If you’re passing through the area it could be a good stop for lunch but it’s not a place I would recommend for a cozy night out.
Great service with friendly staff and patrons. Breakfast was very good. My sister had the breakfast hash and said it was excellent. My husband said the hamburger steak was tender and flavorful. LOVED watching the waitress taking care of an elderly local and the community feel of this little Cafe. It was a great stop along our route for more than just the food.
I'm leaving this review so I will remember next time. This place would be ok if they could actually serve food fast. They take FOREVER. Not worth eating while we charge if it's going to take 45 minutes beyond a full charge to get food and eat. Next time we'll stop somewhere else. Twice we've tried this place, years apart, and they are still slow as dirt.
Great food and service! We had eight in our group and each of us loved our food—gotta try it!
Horrible experience, terrible service- checked on us once right after we got our food that took OVER an hour..no apology whatsoever on that fact. Everyone, including the cook looked like they hated life and moved at a snails pace all with "is my shift over yet" looks on their faces. My dad will now be late to where he's headed on top of it all thanks to this. They weren't busy by the way! All and all, it was a terrible experience and we won't be back. I very rarely write reviews, but this was one of the rare occurrences where I just had to complain. Being a former server for over 10yrs and bf a chef for over 15, we are usually pretty understanding, so that should tell you how bad it all was.
The food was extremely bland for the third time in a row, horrible customer service. Disgusting hash browns that were promised crispy but were soggy and undercooked. Just overall horrible food and service.

Took a bit to get our food but the food was pretty good. We will be back
Terrific, yes it was, Terrific. There is plenty of parking for both cars, with and without trailer, as well as semi, maybe 10 spots.Look for RED QUIK PIK LETTERS ON a white sign. Metal corn stalk and Shell fuel sign. There is a small garden area for a short stroll.Parking lot-very cleanRestroom-very clean, visually and aroma. Nice.Great selection of beverages, coffee including gallon milk, beer cave, single can beers and a like and small assortment of spirits. They have a hot oven with pizza and other items to go...if you don't have time for a GREAT CAFE MEAL.Food- oh my, presentation-ATaste/Texture-APortion- AMy, everything omlette had great variety of flavors and eat veggie or meat had strong flavor to it.Hashbrowns- golden brown, soft yet slightly crunchy and flavorful.Wait staff- friendly, helpful...great young ladies.Big thumbs ? ? ? up.THIS IS THE RESTAURANT THE LOCALS DONT WANT TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT....SO THEY CAN ALWAYS GET A SEAT.
I wish I could give this place zero stars. We waited for an hour and never did get any food. There was an air conditioner vent on the ceiling blasting cold air directly at us. We placed our order--a simple one, salad and some chicken strips--then waited for an HOUR for them before giving up. We could see the cook from our seats. He was a slobbish, unsanitary-looking character, unshaven, with long greasy hair. He seemed to be incapable of cooking more than one item at a time. We watched as the party at the next table (who had been seated just before us) was served one plate at a time (also after an hour). I understand it's devlishly difficult to find good employees, but surely they could do better than this. (Our waitress seemed pretty intelligent--why doesn't she cook, and give this cook-guy the job of picking up parking-lot trash or something.)I can't comment on the food, because we never got any. We had to give up and leave after an hour of waiting. Thanks to this place, we never did get any supper and were an hour behind schedule for no reason.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. There are other food places at this interchange.
Great fried chicken. Most tender I've had in years. The rest of my family enjoyed their meal too. Great service and prices.
