I went to the Depot on a Thursday afternoon at 4:30, and it was already half full of dinner patrons. I imagine it's really busy on weekend nights. Lots of seating both indoors and outside. I had a steak dinner, and was quite pleased with it.

The food, service, and atmosphere are okay. But the menu has gotten smaller and the service is still the same The menu it needs a little bit of an overhaul. Or at least a new item once in a while wouldn't hurt.

This place was disgusting. There were flies everywhere. They even forgot one of our items that we ordered that took 45 minutes to get. When we did get our food it seemed like it was just thrown together. We went to this place to "check it off" our Iowa passport list and it was such a bust. I recommend removing this from the Iowa Passport listing to save others the hassle of going and wasting their time. 10/10 would not recommend.

Went here and they said they were busy and to find a table which did. It took almost a half hour to order and then after two hours we had never received our food. All we got were lame excuses. Our party had to ask several times for refills on tea, another beer or glass of wine. Got one tea refill in this time and one more beer and glass of wine. Even when the manager came to our table he apologized and said we would have our food in 5-10 minutes. After waiting another 25 minutes and still no food we paid for our drinks and left. A good business or manager would had comped them. Can't rate the food since we never got any but never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

The best hot beef sandwich you will find. We order it with French fries smothered in gravy. The food is always good, priced fair, and the staff is excellent.
