I moved to Shenandoah Iowa from Oregon several years ago. While I was making the drive across the country my cousin asked if I like donuts or had any good shops where I’m from. I said well Portland has Voodoo donuts and the town I’m from (McMinnville) has Krispy Cream donuts and I thought KC donuts was “just about it” she informed me that Donut Stop in Shenandoah was a must have and a million times better than KC and although she had never had voodoo donuts she would bet DS was better. Gotta say, she is not wrong. So happy that Todd Kirk and his wife didn’t allow the shop to remain closed and took over ownership. 10/10 recommend!

Sadly it will be closing soon, but this place makes great donuts. They're almost always sold out or almost sold out because they're good. Going to miss them.

This gem of a donut shop has high quality donuts. You will not be disappointed by the selection as long as you get there early enough. The s’mores donut was incredible with the burnt marshmallows on top. The cream filled long john had the perfect amount of sweetness and the cinnamon twist melts in your mouth. They also have a selection of milks, sodas and energy drinks. Definitely make it over here if you are in the area.

Great small town donut shop in Shenandoah IA! I went there twice, got a cinnamon twist and standard yeast donut with sprinkles, both times the donuts were fresh and flavorful. There was a decent selection of donuts each day, including cinnamon rolls and filled bars. They had coffee, chocolate milk and a few other beverage choices. Especially for how small this town is, I highly recommend going to get your round glazed and sprinkled treats!

We just got donuts, I think they are overpriced, and the donuts are A little dense I think, but the service was excellent, but it seems like they run out of everything, And you only have a few items to choose from.
