We haven't visited Harvey's for years. It is still as good as it was back then. The food was great home-cooking, the waitress was the best. We need to get here more often.
The atmosphere is perfectly "small town." The service was super friendly, our waitress had what we needed in hand before we could even ask. The food was excellent, "home cooked" style. The chicken fried steak was tender enough to cut with a fork and really hit the spot. We had breakfast but the lunch and dinner menu looked good and everything was very reasonably priced. We traveled from Nebraska and were very happy to find a great little spot to eat.
It's just a small diner with homestyle food. Not somewhere I would go everyday but food is well prepared. Service can be lacking at times. Waited for our server (was not busy) for almost 10 min. But she was very friendly.
I would rather go a few blocks up street to glass palace tho. Harveys would be 2nd choice
