I was a little scared when I ordered a quad Americano and the barista asked "what's that mean"? The coffee was ok, but definitely not the draw. The doughnuts were, as the kids these days say, "feugo". No frills. No silly shapes, no bacon or captain crunch. Just a round doughnut with maple, glaze, or chocolate. Sprinkles, nuts, or plain are available. Just a little crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. They definitely do donuts right.

I love their donuts! I ordered a chai latte and i got a cup of warm milk back. Consistency ppl. I'll just stick to the donuts next time.

Best Doughnuts in Iowa. They are best hot and fresh but I have bought 3 dozen at a time to take home back to the other side of the state and share with my family and friends there and they don't get stale and hard like other doughnuts do when they are day old they are still good even 4 days later. My kids love them.

Donuts are amazing, especially the maple when it is warm-- the only donut I care about honestly. The staff is good but the owner is horribly terse and and at times, quite rude. Atmosphere could be described as eclectic shabby (chic?). Saw they are opening in a new location. Hopefully donut quality is the same, atmosphere remains unique and colourful, but the owner's quality of service and attitude improve some!

I've read many of the reviews regarding Jitters Donuts in Sioux City. They range from 1-5 stars depending on what you're looking for. When you talk specifically donuts, they are very good. We've been there a few times. The atmosphere is pretty good and casual. One of the recurring themes though, of the reviews and personal experience, is that of customer service. Depends on who assists you. Been there the last two weekends now and found the younger staff member behind the donut display case to be stand-offish and borderline rude the first weekend. This weekend she was blatantly rude. The staff member, with multi-colored hair, seemed completely over whelmed, as she tried to comprehend our ordering 7 donuts total, consisting of three kinds. When questioned she put her head back and rolled her eyes at us and was clearly frustrated. The line behind us had 5 people waiting. As she rolled her eyes, I asked her her problem and "what's with the eye roll." She then denied it as the customers behind us stated she was clearly rolling her eyes. There is so much more to this review, as it could short book length. I guess the deal is, the place has great donuts. Probably the best in Sioux City, but the customer service from at least this staff member today was unacceptable. She's not the only one either. And the thing is, people will continue going there because the donuts are very good. Sad. It could really be so much better and friendlier. Anyway....Ideally you should call ahead for the donuts, pick them up and go anywhere else to eat them. Good luck!

The donuts are what I came for. I know the history of the machine they use and grew up with these donuts. I'm so glad that this place is able to make these donuts. They are fresh (you literally watch them being made) and delicious. The staff was friendly. I didn't care for the coffee, though I do like that you choose your shot amount. No matter what size you get, the drink comes with one shot, but you can add as many shots as you want for 25 cents each. The problem is that it tastes like cheap hotel coffee pot coffee. Five stars for the donuts is what saves the food score as the coffee only gets two.Also, while staff were friendly, they were not efficient or thorough. We ordered two drinks. We had to wait quite a while to get them as they only have one person making drinks and the cashier just kept taking more and more orders, rather than helping get through the current orders.Then we got one drink and waited for our second. Someone else got there drink and we waited some more. Then I saw the barista make a dink and set the cup next to her machine; then she started talking to another customer about their drink order. She made that customer's drink. Finally we went up to ask for our second drink. It was ready, as it was the drink she had sat next to her machine, but she had never called it out. I can see how it was overwhelming for her, as their system is unorganized. There is no order to the drinks. The drink order is written on the cup and then they are placed on a table for the barista to make, but they are all just bunched together.I will go back for the donuts, but will refrain from ordering coffee again.

The previous time I went to Jitters was well over a year ago thanks to a fellow that had a nasty attitude that worked there. My son asked if we could get Jitters donuts this morning. I hesitantly took him there. Fortunately, I did not see the fellow working there and the ladies working there were very nice. The donuts have always been amazing, but service does matter. I was very happy with the service this morning.
