Small diner with staff that knows the regulars and is friendly to be customers. Has a small turn feel. We found the place when visiting for a high school competition and would recommend it.
We travel quite a bit throughout the US and always try and find small, locally owned restaurants. Johnny Mars is family owned with great home cooked comfort food. Quantity is crazy with fair prices. Atmosphere is more like an old diner, which I love, but I know it is a personal preference. If you are in the area, I personally recommend this outstanding family restaurant. They serve breakfast all day, too, with pancakes as big as your head!
All was great. I just wish the waiters don't process people so that they can have more people in a day rather get the waiter to up sell and make people feel more at home and they will buy more too.
