Melting Cow is a popular barbecue pop-up restaurant located in historic downtown Sioux City. Operating within Major's sports bar, its hours can be unpredictable and it frequently sells out of its food, so checking their Facebook page for updates is recommended.
The menu features classic barbecue dishes like brisket sandwiches, smoked pulled pork, Mississippi beef (slow roasted shredded beef with pepperoncinis), and oinkers (bacon wrapped smoked dogs topped with smoked cream cheese and barbecue sauce).
