We are traveling from NJ and we loved how friendly everyone was! The bartender (not sure if he owned it or not) was absolutely super! We, of course, had the Charlie Boy (the last 2!) and a schooner of beer. The Charlie Boy was peppery and yummy! Next time we are traveling through we will definitely stop in for a visit.

My favorite bar in Sioux City for over 20 years. A little bit more expensive than it was years ago but who can turn down a Schooner and a Charlie Boy? I guess the one thing I don't care for is the video lottery/game they have in there. Takes up a lot of valuable space.

The only reason I gave it four stars is because the bar is cash only. I don't like to carry around a lot of cash and it's 2024 what bar does not take a credit card? Are they cooking the books?
