The idea is good, but if you're not careful your whole meal could unravel out of the bun and onto your lap. The meat had great flavors. We just got the regular one with fries and one with onion chips and some dipping sauce. Midwest may not have fry sauce, but I tell ya fry sauce would pair up with the onion chips better than the dipping sauce for sure. The dipping sauce if good, but I think that would be better for chicken nuggets or chicken tenders. I live in the fry sauce capital. Fries of any style and onion rings are nothing without fry sauce! Prices were just right. I love the old school atmosphere. Happy to know you guys don't feel the pressure to modernize it all. Keep it just as is, cuz most places like this are gone for good! 😀 Mahalo!

LOOOVE the onion chips & dip. I come all the way from Omaha, they're that good. Take a sip of pepto first, though. Ice cream is really good, too.
I love Tastee. They still have their classic taste after all these years. I got two Tastees and Onion chips, and I was in heaven for about 5 minutes. 😂🤘

My son took his daughter on a road trip through Iowa. I grew up in Sioux City and loved Tastee! He and his daughter ordered a couple tastee sandwiches. He said they were dry. I was shocked to hear that.
