I love Tastee! The food is always hot and delicious, and it's fun to eat loose meats and know they were invented in Sioux City! Tastee might just make the best loose meats in the whole world. And I love the onion chips so much too.

I’m retired & have gone to Tastee's since I was a little kid & I think, before there were any other drive-thru places in town. And they had two locations back then. The first one opened in 1955, I was in grade school. McD's didn’t open until 1960 &, in my opinion, still isn't as good.
The Tastee's are always fresh, the onion rings are always hot & crispy & the dip is cool & creamy.

I was amazed the other day! I ordered tastees and onion chips. The tastes had a big bun that did not fall apart. Alos, there was twice as much meat in it. I will be back!

Food is always good, inflation definitely felt, however, still at a much lower increase as whole than compared to franchise places like McDonald's. Could easily buy a shopper special and feed 6 or more for the price of 3-4 combo meals elsewhere.

Can't wait to make the trip again ??. Wonderful restaurant of Lincoln's past and it's always good to get some of those onion chips and dip ?. The one that can't be replaced with another "little" bun with the just right mustard and pickle ?.
