A friend of mine still living in Sioux City informed me of the owner's lack of sense when it comes to business and his on-line comments. Cowardly is the only word that comes to mind. I'm sure this review won't be posted but I feel better.
C J Peters (owner) posted a black hearted comment regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk. Now we all know what evil lurks within "Mr." Peters. Boycott his establishment and shun him in public.

The craft beers & food are very good.
Decided to stop here after a long road trip. Apps, burger and craft beers were on point! Service was great. Katie and John are the best!
3rd time is enough for me. The drinks were ok but the food and service was very poor. Under staffed might have been an issue but in the food service business u only get so many opportunities to execute. I would skip diving elk for now
Because of the selection of craft beer, and menu that features a good mix of different cuisine and fusion offerings.. the Irish curry poutine is addicting.. its really the only place I'll go to dine in, in town
Find staff delicious food. Going back tomorrow for the fish and chips. It looks so good.
First time here, but the Diving Elk was a highlight! Both the grow a pear and Oaxaca-watermelon cocktails were amazing! Food was just as good as the drinks - the shishito peppers were SO good, brussel sprouts and burgers too!

Great place to go down on 4th Street, one of our favorites downtown. Drink selection is good. Several fun cocktails to try. Service is great. A really nice place to go for a date, with friends, or as a family.

As Johnny Weissmuller asked Buster Crabbe, "What dive did you come out of?"
Food was completely devoid of salt, and no salt shaker was anywhere in sight.
Service was adequate.
Atmosphere is a modest upgrade from last year.

Not a ton on the menu to choose from. But what we had. It was good.

Love this place. Best cocktails in Sioux City. Solid beer list that rotates. Good wine list even though options are limited. This goes with consistent food. But most of all, best old fashion hands down anywhere.
Vegetarian options: Always have vegan options!
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy front door access.
