The friend came in the other day, and she is a person of color and she kept on talking to her in Spanish and making them feel left out. She was visibly uncomfortable and she kept on making remarks towards her and her family. Server was so out of touch.

Disappointed in our breakfasts two days in a row.We have eaten breakfast here every year and loved it for almost 2 decades. Not sure if it’s new owners or what but the Hashbrowns were cold and almost raw on the inside and blackened on the outside. Scrambled eggs appeared to be liquid eggs instead of fresh cracked and were flat and folded instead of scrambled and fluffy. The pancakes started out really good on the edges but the middle was still batter. Not sure we will return next year

It's nothing special. I had breakfast. The food was ok. There is little choice to go to Spencer. Expensive and waitresses are aggressive about expecting a tip.

Best breakfast in Clay County! This is by far our favorite breakfast place. The food is excellent, the service was phenomenal. The wait staff are starting to know us by name because we eat here so often. Definitely worth stopping by and grabbing a booth and enjoy some friendly Midwest folks who cook an awesome breakfast.
