“The food was very good and tasty. Most of the staff was friendly and polite except one person Makenzie. She never said hello and never asked if we wanted any different types of bread. Then we asked what the sizes of bread were and she grabbed a piece of bread with her bare hands to show us, then she put it back. A simple smile on her face would have been nice but she looked pissed off that she was there. Everyone else was very nice and friendly.”

“This is such a great little shop! Small and eclectic. The owner/ operator is really friendly and will engage in conversation if you want. Reasonable prices and an atmosphere of an authentic little coffee cafe. Really enjoyed this place!”

“Our party of four stopped in for lunch. The Cafe is easy to get to. We arrived at a busy time around noon but got seated fairly quickly. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Other items in our party were soup and salad, chicken sandwich and a breakfast order of pancakes, hash browns, bacon and omelette. My burger and fries were pretty good. I tried the tortilla soup also. It was spiced nicely. The small salad was good too. Our server Mariana was very very good.”

“We had not eaten there in years. Usually we eat further North in the Lakes region. We were in Spencer and decided we would give it a try. The decor was kind of a throw back to the old fine dining supper club atmosphere. Comfortable, nice soft background music and easy to carry on a conversation with our table companions. Jamie our server made us feel like we were the most important people in the room. Food was cooked properly, served at temp, well seasoned, very happy. It was such a pleasant experience we will be back. The price was very reasonable too.”
