“We've been coming to the lakes area for years, but just discovered this place. We've come almost daily, tried almost everything (still have some to go), and OMG - everything is delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I have is that they really need to rename the raisin bread and call it the "World's Best Raisin Bread". Toast it with butter, and you're in heaven. Thank you for all the hard work you do to provide quality products!“
“Our party of four stopped in for lunch. The Cafe is easy to get to. We arrived at a busy time around noon but got seated fairly quickly. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Other items in our party were soup and salad, chicken sandwich and a breakfast order of pancakes, hash browns, bacon and omelette. My burger and fries were pretty good. I tried the tortilla soup also. It was spiced nicely. The small salad was good too. Our server Mariana was very very good.“
“We had not eaten there in years. Usually we eat further North in the Lakes region. We were in Spencer and decided we would give it a try. The decor was kind of a throw back to the old fine dining supper club atmosphere. Comfortable, nice soft background music and easy to carry on a conversation with our table companions. Jamie our server made us feel like we were the most important people in the room. Food was cooked properly, served at temp, well seasoned, very happy. It was such a pleasant experience we will be back. The price was very reasonable too.“
“In town visiting my son for his first big boy job a long way from home (Texas/Alabama). Julia took care of me with the best recommendations. When home I have my go tos but when traveling I always do the signatures. The Weaser Pleaser did not disappoint. If you make to Spencer, you have to go to Weasy’s!!“
“Stopped in for lunch. Ordered their Friday Fish Taco special. Good combination of ingredients. They used chopped lettuce rather than cole slaw or shredded cabbage. A house made sauce was pleasantly spiced. The fish was crispy fried and cut into chunks. The tortilla everything was wrapped in was a flour tortilla of good size. The tacos were tasty and I would order again. Service was good and our server was on her game. She did a really good job.“
“Black Earth Java deserves 25 out of five stars. This place is great and the service is outstanding. I go here so frequently that the employees know my order the second that I pull up to the window. The drinks are amazing and the coffee beans are delightful. I cannot explain how much I love this place. I do wish there was more than just a drive-thru though“
