“I love finding these Gems in small towns. Toads is super quaint. Very tiny, only three tables that seat two each. But the space is so amazingly eccentric, it's enjoyable to just sit and look around. The coffee is roasted on site, good flavor nice balance. The proprietor was just as eclectic as his shop, interesting and informative. Overall I gave this a 5 star rating for the atmosphere, the good coffee was a bonus. Huge fan of this place.“
“Was awkward walking in first time not knowing it was seat yourself and everyone staring at the out of towners. However, it became better as the food was very good and delivered quickly and hot. Toast was definitely on point and some of the best I have had. Prices are reasonable. Is cash or check only so be prepared for that.“
“Our party of four stopped in for lunch. The Cafe is easy to get to. We arrived at a busy time around noon but got seated fairly quickly. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Other items in our party were soup and salad, chicken sandwich and a breakfast order of pancakes, hash browns, bacon and omelette. My burger and fries were pretty good. I tried the tortilla soup also. It was spiced nicely. The small salad was good too. Our server Mariana was very very good.“
“Black Earth Java deserves 25 out of five stars. This place is great and the service is outstanding. I go here so frequently that the employees know my order the second that I pull up to the window. The drinks are amazing and the coffee beans are delightful. I cannot explain how much I love this place. I do wish there was more than just a drive-thru though“
