I've been looking for Chinese in the tristate area SD, IA, MN for 2 yrs nothing worth repeating UNTIL NOW. Note this was 45mins till close and I was very pleased with the food and wonderful service the waitress was very attentive and helpful. We had Sesame chicken with plain lomein, fried rice, chicken egg rolls, and fried dumplings. I don't eat fried dumplings but I tried these and now, a fan. We had so much we had a meal the next day! Also the price for what we got and the service was very nice and inexpensive. I'll drive the hour for this again!

When it comes to Chinese cuisine, Chen’s Garden is the real moo shu deal! I mean, if you haven’t tried their Kung Pao Chicken, are you even living? The chef must have a PhD in deliciousness because every dish is like a flavor explosion in your mouth.
The ambiance? Imagine if tranquility and a party had a baby – that’s Chen’s Garden. It’s the only place where you can meditate to the sound of sizzling wontons. And the service? Faster than a noodle in a typhoon. I asked for water, blinked, and there it was, as if by magic.
Let’s talk about the Spring Rolls. They’re so fresh; I suspect there’s a secret garden out back. And the fortune cookies? They’re like crispy little prophets of joy. Mine said, “You will leave this restaurant with a giggle in your belly and leftovers for tomorrow.” Spot on!
In conclusion, Chen’s Garden is the Panda’s pajamas. If you want a meal that will make your taste buds do the dragon dance, this is the place. Five stars and a high-kung-fu kick of approval from me!

Eating here's been a bit hit or miss for me. The biggest thing is the sauces just don't taste right... like the sesame chicken that’s supposed to be sweet ends up tasting sour, which makes me wonder if something is off with them. The noodles are usually more on the soggy side, which isn't great. China One has good noodles. Kinda makes me think twice about the freshness of the food here. Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of trying this place out, or noticed something off too.. the food might not be what you’re expecting.
