I am not sure if the Midwest understands good Chinese or pho soup. Unfortunately, the pho soup was not right. The Kung pow chicken was very bland. If you’re going to have Pho soup on the menu, please do it correctly as I received mushy noodle soup with no flavor. I believe it is best to go to Storm Lake for the soup.
I've been looking for Chinese in the tristate area SD, IA, MN for 2 yrs nothing worth repeating UNTIL NOW. Note this was 45mins till close and I was very pleased with the food and wonderful service the waitress was very attentive and helpful. We had Sesame chicken with plain lomein, fried rice, chicken egg rolls, and fried dumplings. I don't eat fried dumplings but I tried these and now, a fan. We had so much we had a meal the next day! Also the price for what we got...
Best asian food option in Clay county Iowa. Good people, great service, awesome food. If you show up for the Clay County Fair.....don't forget to stop at Chens for a beer and their hot and sour soup!!
