The space is calming and inviting and the staff are some of the friendliest and kindest people. I look forward to coming back!!
Rarely I give 5 stars to any businesses, but these guys deserved it. The service is very professional, employees are very kind and helpful, food is tasty and couzy space is provided for reading, working, or a small company.

My very favorite coffee house. She serves beautiful food and delicious beverages in a cozy, home-like environment.
The service is five stars. The coffee is five stars. The atmosphere is five stars. I was watching a new employee being trained and just watching how the employee was being trained was amazing and heartwarming! Maybe there is hope for humanity at The Well Coffee House!

We've come here many, many times with good experiences, but the service is slower every time we come. We waited 35 minutes for 2 bowls of potato soup that tasted distinctly like Campbell's cream of mushroom with chopped potatoes added, yuk. The service to tables around us was hit and miss as well, with some in the parties getting their food and others waiting while other tables were being partially served. Some got up to make sure they hadn't been forgotten.The tea I ordered was actually brought to the table with the caveat that if it wasn't hot enough, I should bring it back to be reheated ( it wasn't, and I did). Obviously, she knew it wasn't hot when she brought it, so why didn't she heat it first and save both of us the time and trouble? Will likely give them another chance, but they can't sustain this long before people choose to go elsewhere.

Update if you think you're going to get a coffee in 10 minutes or less good luck with that. After being ignored and having them make lunch for everybody else I had to ask for my coffee after 15 minutes so that I wouldn't be late for work......The Well coffee bar/restaurant is definitely not an inviting happy place to go for coffee. The atmosphere is subdued lighting and highway noise. The coffee was okay but it was over $3 for a cup of house Brew, self-serve. The menu is extremely limited. Not a place I would ever go back to.

A little gem in the rough! If you are looking for a quaint coffee shop at the lake that reminds you of the good old days, complete with the sweet owner Diane, baking her delicious desserts and serving them with a beautiful smile and she might just sit at the piano and treat you with a beautiful hymn❤️

Peaceful place to come and read, meet a friend, and relax. Diane is a gem and played the piano for us. She's a gifted singer and worshiper. You won't be disappointed!

Had an appointment in Spirit Lake and needed to stop somewhere for lunch, and I thought instead of the obligatory sub sandwich someplace else, I’d stop at a place with more character. Well, The Well certainly did not disappoint! Aside from enjoying a delicious and healthy salad, the entire atmosphere at this place is just the cutest, and the staff are what make it the place it is. I can tell this is a place that is contributing so much to the community for God’s glory. I just wish I lived closer!
