“Oh my goodness everyone absolutely LOVED everything you delivered today! Every pan was almost empty when we were finished!! Brisket, Mac & cheese, cheesy potatoes, green beans with bacon & garlic & stuffing everything done to perfection!! Everyone enjoyed & commented how wonderful everything tasted! Thank you so much for everything thing!! It was all amazing!!”

“The special was oven baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a side (we had the deviled eggs). The BEST meal we've had in a long time. Everything was homemade and delicious. Also had a piece of homemade strawberry pie, wonderful. They also brought us each a sample of rhubarb cobbler that was delicious (and I normally don't even like rhubarb). All of this for $22, best deal I've had in a long time! Place was clean, staff were friendly. Can't recommend highly enough!”

“After reading that they had Iowa’s best tenderloin in 2023, we decided to check them out. We were not disappointed. The tenderloin was just as ordered. I had pickles and onions, while my husband got the lettuce and tomatoes on his. It was meaty and perfectly breaded.\nWe also had a side salad, that included carrot & celery stick, radish, grape tomato, hard boiled egg, and croutons besides the lettuce and dressing.\nThe service was friendly and we even met the owner for the past 50 years. What a treat!”

“Stopped in for a beer and stayed for supper! The bar tender was efficient, helpful and fun. The patrons were hearty and friendly. We felt at home right away. They had a prime rib dinner with potato and a salad bar that was crazy good. Came in as visitors, and left as friends. Stop in and enjoy!”
