“We were passing through on a day trip back home. Great customer service and food! The guy taking orders was super friendly and asking everyone how their day was going. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal, sweet potato fries were the right amount of crisp, and burnt end sandwich hit the spot!“

“Spacious rooms, we were able to sit near the t.v to watch the baseball game. The ribeye steak was delicious and all the sides were good. Cornbread tastes great, food was warm and cooked fresh. My family really likes BBQ and we did not have anything negative to say, even the sweet tea was good.“

I do take one star from the food as sides are a little limited, but not to say they are bad. Staff has always been excellent. Last time I had an 8 ox sirloin, med-rare naked (no seasoning) with broccoli sides and everything was excellent. I have a limited diet and I am effectively Keto at this stage of my life and they had no problems accommodating. My date chose a filet, well, with potatoes and was very pleased with the food. The decor is a little over-the-top Texas (having lived in Texas I can say it was trying too hard) but it was not noisy or overly busy at 8 pm. Sorry, I do not take pictures of food...strikes me as a little too weird...“
